Overlooking the Paluxy River, nestled in a grove of trees, this small wedding chapel will take you away to another time. For an unforgettable wedding in God’s wondrous creation…this is it!

An old-fashioned bell tower, complete with a rope pull hanging through the roof to the floor, and stained-glass windows create a unique ambiance that will take your breath away. Side windows pull up for an open-air event and benches are placed outside for an overflow crowd!

Best Western Dinosaur Valley Inn & Suites 

Best Western Dinosaur Valley Inn & Suites offers a meeting room that accommodates groups up to 35 people.  Located across from the Somervell County Expo Center, this is a great place to hold a board meeting or small association meeting.

Glen Lake Camp & Retreat Center

Glen Lake Camp is capable of accommodating various group sizes; from small Bible studies to large Christian conferences with hundreds of people. Their campus is beautifully centered around a lake with views of the Paluxy cliffside. For our groups, they offer dormitory, lodge, and hotel-style living quarters. Glen Lake Camp has 26 different living quarters and 16 meeting spaces. The meeting spaces have projectors, screens, and sound systems available upon request.  Outdoor space is also available.

High Hope Retreat

We love getting people together to celebrate life!
You can now host your own private celebration, wedding, reunion, or corporate event at High Hope. Our event coordinators will help you plan logistics, gather wildflower bouquets, and everything in-between. Book the entire wildlife sanctuary including homes, camping areas, yoga studio, StarPad, and Stone Circle.
Max carrying capacity is 200 people.

Inn on the River

Inn on the River is an extraordinary 22-room inn and group meeting facility located in the historic district of Glen Rose. Nestled in the trees along the banks of the Paluxy River, the historic Inn on the River has perfected the concept of settling down to business.  Their intimate size allows them to cater to the individual needs within a small group and to truly give personal service.  Inn on the River offers Complete Meeting Packages that consists of single occupancy or double occupancy accommodations, three gourmet meals, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, use of the conference center and basic audiovisual equipment.

Oakdale Park

Glen Rose’s Historic Oakdale Park features several options for large groups hold events, and to stay overnight. “Hangout” meeting space – Accommodates up to 60, Tables & Chairs included, 18’x37′ meeting space includes full kitchen and restroom. “Outdoor Pavilion” 40’x85′ covered pavilion space, lighted, open-air venue.  Adjacent to the Outdoor Kitchen. “Outdoor Kitchen” meeting space – Accommodates up to 20 people, tables & chairs included, 17’x28′ indoor space includes full kitchen and windows open toward the Outdoor Pavilion area. “Convention Center” meeting space – 40’x90′ area accommodates up to 300 when used complete, or can be divided into two individual meeting spaces.  Each area is complete with a full kitchen, common foyer, and men’s and women’s restroom.

Sexton Mill

Safari Pavilion at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center

The Safari Pavilion at Fossil Rim is an ideal location for off-site business meetings, wedding rehearsals/receptions, or family gatherings.

Texas Amphitheater

Texas Amphitheater is a massive outdoor structure that boasts 3200 seats and is the nation’s only outdoor stage surrounded by a 45,000-gallon moat and features a rain curtain. With walls and arches soaring 40 feet high, and a 4000 square foot stage, The Texas Amphitheater is a stunning Glen Rose landmark, visible from miles away.
